Houston Process and Design (HPD) is a specialized manufacturer of custom pressure vessels that strictly adhere to the ASME Section VIII Division 1 code. Our primary focus is on serving the Petrochemical industry, along with the production of water and food-grade products. We offer a comprehensive range of capabilities, including vessel design, fabrication, machine services, painting, inspection, and non-destructive testing.
At HPD, we have a fully integrated operation that encompasses all aspects of Design/Engineering, welding, and fabrication in-house. Additionally, we have a fully equipped machine shop to fulfill any machining requirements. Our dedicated team ensures that all stages of the manufacturing process are closely monitored and controlled to maintain the highest quality standards.
Furthermore, we have a specialized department for strainer basket/internals construction. This department is responsible for manufacturing strainer baskets and filter housing internals. Our expertise extends to vessels fabricated in-house as well as vessels fabricated by other manufacturers.

Houston Process and Design is conveniently situated in the northeastern region of Houston, in close proximity to the 610 Loop and Homestead Road. Our facility spans approximately 10 acres and is enclosed by a secure fence. Within our premises, you will find two separate fabrication buildings.
Building One encompasses an area of approximately 40,000 square feet and is exclusively dedicated to Carbon Steel fabrication. This building is well-equipped with (1) 15-ton overhead crane, (2) 10-ton overhead cranes, and several jib cranes. These lifting mechanisms efficiently support the production requirements of our welding and fitting departments.
Building Two covers an area of around 28,000 square feet and is specifically allocated for Stainless Steel fabrication, machining, as well as internals/baskets manufacturing. Within this building, we have (2) 10-ton overhead cranes along with multiple jib cranes. These lifting systems play a crucial role in facilitating the welding and fitting operations within our facility.
Our strategically designed and well-equipped facilities allow us to carry out Carbon Steel fabrication in Building One and Stainless Steel fabrication, machining, and internals/baskets manufacturing in Building Two. With the aid of our overhead cranes and jib cranes, we ensure efficient production processes that meet the highest quality standards.
